Schnitties are delicious, there is no denying it.
If a schnitty is an infrequent addition to your diet, you don’t need to worry too much about the macros.
However if you’re having it regularly and have a weight loss or maintenance goal, looking for a leaner and lower calorie version could be worth looking into.
Comparing the FNC Recipe and the Inghams Schnitty (which is pretty similar to most schnitties out there), there is nearly a 100 calorie difference.
The FNC version has an extra 8g protein per 100g and only has 3 ingredients so it’s not too hard to make either.
It’s also worth trying if you’re a bit over plain chicken and looking to change things up a bit. It’s only 20 calories more than regular chicken breast and if it helps you get more protein into your diet, why not give it a try!
